Why not make it fun instead?
“Beaming” coupons from billboards was the assignment from Palm. Nobody wanted it. But then I suggested – what if we made the technology fun?
My favorite was the “Fortune Teller”. There were no touch screens at the time, however, pressure could cause the screen to change. So I asked the tech guys if the customer tapped the screen to their forehead to “read” their fortune, when they brought it down, could the screen now reveal their fortune? “Why yes,” they replied laughing, “We could make that work.”
